I’m Marcia Goodman, your staging realtor, but to many, I’m also a neighbor. I’ve lived in Northern Virginia my whole adult life, which means I understand the changing real estate market here in the Northern Virginia area and know the neighborhoods I serve. This is important. But what’s just as (or more) important is the relationship I develop with my clients.
“I believe that having a strong relationship with my real estate clients creates a winning plan”
My History and Approach
Before I went into real estate, I earned a Master’s degree in counseling and development and worked in social services. I learned to really listen to what my clients were saying they needed, taking myself out of the equation so I could educate them and make the best recommendations.
I apply those same skills when I’m working with you, the buyer or seller. I want to know what it is you need so I can get you into a home you can afford, one you will be happy with on a long-term basis. And if you are selling, I want to make sure you get the best price for this place you have called home probably for some time. This is how relationships are built.
As for staging, I began early in life. I grew up living all over the world, and every time we moved, I helped my mother set up the house. This “on-the-job training” helped me develop a passion for staging. I love making homes beautiful and functional so you, as a seller, succeed in selling your home. Because I love staging so much, I offer this service for free if you use your own furniture and list your home with me.
I have studied for years to be a realtor and a stager.
